NAYA writes in English, Kannada and Hindi, often inside the same verse, and the switching is never a gimmick — it is how the thought actually arrives. Her first EP for the label was recorded across four weekends between shifts at a job she has since left.

She has a low, unhurried delivery that rewards good headphones and punishes bad mixes. Live, she performs with a three-piece and no backing track.

Her second album, *Longhand*, was written almost entirely on a night bus between Bengaluru and Mumbai over a period of eight months.
